This Kat has found a recent ruling issued by the Paris Court of Appeal concerning a copyright infringement dispute involving photographs. 121-2 al 1 of the CPI , the court dismissed infringement of the right of disclosure.

During his lifetime, Trenet assigned his economic rights to these songs to his music publisher, Editions Raoul Breton. After Trenet’s death, all his patrimony (including the moral rights to the songs) were inherited by his friend, Georges El Assidi. PML is a company that manufactures hand crank musical boxes.

Acko General Insurance , the Delhi High Court is faced with the opportunity to elaborate whether and how street art in general is subject to the Copyright Act, the scope of ‘artistic work’ under Sec. 52(1)(t) and ‘moral rights’ of the author in such work. 2(c)(i), and, thus, copyrightable under sec. 57 of the Act.
